"Maggers & Ripley" is a creative property produced by Strange Type Studio. Recognized by Animation Magazine's staff in 2005 as the best proposal for a new animated property, Maggers and Ripley have also been seen in a sneak-preview mini comic that debuted at Wizard World Chicago '07. Currently, Shea and Josh, the manchildren who make up Strange Type Studio, are working on a children's book showcasing the loveable pups.
A character-driven buddy story, Maggers & Ripley follows the adventures (and misadventures) of an odd couple of canine ‘sisters’ as they match wits and go paw-to-paw with their neighborhood nemeses: the conniving French opossum, Jean-Paul Jorge Ringot, and the barely-domesticated big cat, Steve (A.K.A. Big Steve, “The Round Mound of Chow Down”).
